Books I Enjoyed But Have Never Mentioned on My Blog

There are so many great books…too many to highlight all of them on my blog. I read some good books that just don’t make it onto my list. Here are a few I really enjoyed but that never made it into one of my posts.

The Lady of Milkweed Manor by Julie Klassen

Julie Klassen’s debut novel introduced me to her writing and to Regency fiction. I really enjoyed this book, and all of the author’s books. I’m working my way through her backlist in publication order.

The Apothecary’s Daughter by Julie Klassen

Another very sweet Regency book. It was really interesting to read about apothecaries, how they worked, and how things were changing during this time.

Lady Clementine by Marie Benedict

This historic fiction about Lady Clementine Churchill was really interesting! I’ve read and watched a lot about Winston Churchill, but this was the first book I’ve ever read about his wife. Note: This is the only one mentioned today that is not Christian fiction.

Undercurrent of Secrets by Rachel Scott McDaniel

I’m enjoying the Doors to the Past series. Each book is a split time mystery revolving around an American landmark. This one centers around a steamboat. Both timeline stories were really interesting, and the mystery was great. I loved how the author tied the stories together in the end.

The Tea Chest by Heidi Chiavaroli

This is another really well written split time novel, going back and forth between modern day and the American Revolution. It was my first to read from this author, and I’ll definitely read more.

What books have you enjoyed but didn’t share on your blog? What are you reading right now?
